Startups are small enterprises during its first state of operation. Usually, startups are owned entirely by a single owner or sometimes more than one.

Considering an enterprise dealing with mobile app development, web development, and Cloud migration where the founder cum CEO is the sole proprietor. The enterprise would employ about 30+ employees working in he the d office and two other sales branches across the world. The enterprise should follow a strategic process to accomplish any undertaken project.

Organisation Structure
The organization we consider is entirely owned and headed by the CEO. All major decision making happens with the approval of the CEO.
The organization has categorized itself into 4 departments:

• HR & Accounts
  This department handles multiple roles like recruitments, record keeping, payroll management, legal paper work, bills and payments.
• Design & Development
  The entire development cycle right from requirement gathering till deployment of the project happens here. The team together gathers project requirements, brainstorms the concepts, structures the project, designs and finally develops it. The project needs to be checked for errors and feasibility before deploying it, so a testing phase is undertaken and finally the project is deployed for user end.
• Sales & Support
  This team handles post and pre-project requirements. The sales team markets and brands the organization and the services that they offer. So once there is a requirement, and the initial payments are settled the project goes to the development and design team. Once the project is deployed it comes back to the sales and support department for after sales service.
• IT
  This is a small department in the organization which handles the hardware and security aspect of the organization including networking. The internet connectivity, software installation and all other hardware issues are taken care of by this department. In case there is a crash or any other hardware related issue that is no within the scope of the department to handle, then the device is sent to the third party for service. Device purchases are done thru a third party or over some E-commerce websites.
• Management
  This team handles all major decision making regarding the organization and the projects and reports them to the CEO for approval. The CEO’s decision can be questioned but most of the time his word is final.

This is how a business startup would function, using basic waterfall model of churning projects and functional testing methods. Customer satisfaction and support should be the key aspects because customers are the prime focus without which a business would not survive.
